Jamie & Mitch - Old Hollywood Themed Wedding

The Lady & The Lawyer –

We really had a great time shooting Jamie & Mitch’s themed wedding recently. Their Old Hollywood theme was a perfect setting for their personalities!

Jamie is a drama teacher and in love with all things nostalgic. Mitch is a patent lawyer and in love with all things Jamie!

They were wed at the Majestic Theater. It’s the oldest movie theater still in operation in the small town of Wills Point Texas. The reception was held at the near by train depot. As you can imagine shooting a wedding inside of a very dark theater might be challenging but we packed along the appropriate gear to bounce some light at the stage and capture lots of dramatic wedding ceremony images. After the ceremony we turned our lenses around to focus on the theater seats as Jamie, Mitch and the entire wedding party hammed it up for the camera. We then set off to get a few shots outside along the train car and railroad tracks before heading to the reception where they dance the rest of the evening away to a great jazz band.

The highlights of the reception included Mitch singing the song that Jamie and her Dad shared for the Father/Daughter Dance as well as a very cute ending dance to Singing in the Rain.

Here are a few of our favorite shots from Jamie & Mitch’s Wedding Day. http://www.jamyeperelli.com/
