Meet Jamie & Mitch

Here are a few images from yesterday's e-session with Jamie & Mitch. Jamie is a drama teacher and Mitch is an attorney. They are getting married in June in the small town of Wills Point where Jamie teaches. I had a great time with this couple. Their love is very evident! This is one of my very favorite shots from their session but they had lots of great ones! See a few more below.

Love this Black and White Engagement shot.

A beautifully classic black and white of the love birds Jamie and Mitch.

Mitch has beautiful eyes!

I had a great time walking around the small east Texas town of Wills Point finding little spots to photograph these guys. Look at Mitch eyes aren't they beautiful! Almost as striking as his beautiful fiance!

Majestic Theater

That's the majestic theater in the background where they are getting married in June. Its the oldest theater still in operation in Texas. Don't you just wonder what Mitch said to her to create that expression on her face?

A stolen kiss!

You can so easily see the love between these two. Spring is arriving here in east Texas and I choose to focus on the blooming tree in the foreground while Jamie and Mitch stole a kiss in the background.

Dino's Book Signing Today...

This is one of those posts that has nothing to do with photography but more to do with letting friends, family and clients in on what's going on in my life aside from the photography biz.

So anyway, today Dino (my hubby for those of you who don't know him) will be doing a book signing for his new novel "Sid" at our local library. Dino is such a talented and creative individual and I am so proud that he finished this book. Its an easy read and a great storyline. See below for a synopsis and details on the book signing. If you can't make it to the book signing but would like to purchase a copy for yourself you can find it on amazon at the following link.

Synopsis:
In a small, rural, Texas town a very average looking man has a very unusual secret. He believes that the voice of God is instructing him to kill various people in order to create for him in heaven what he never had on earth; a loving, loyal, devoted, family. After inheriting some money and property from his grandparents, Sid Evenburg moves to Gun Barrel City Texas. He starts to hear a voice. A voice that threatens to destroy Sid unless he obeys and does what he is told. Sid encounters the local sheriff, a retired FBI profiler, and a psychic, as well as his long lost Uncle who informs Sid of some facts about his past that Sid never knew. Sid tries to frame his Uncle for his own heinous acts while he portends to the investigation of the murders. Ultimately Sid is brought down by the Sheriff, but is it the end of Sid's reign of terror or just the beginning?
