Linh + Brandon
Now, of course, this seems to go against the big wedding tradition of the bride and groom not seeing each other in their wedding attire before walking down the isle but I am finding more and more couples wanting to do this.
Today’s modern, forward thinking couples realize the many benefits that the pre-wedding portrait session offers. Aside from a more relaxed atmosphere a pre-wedding portrait session opens up opportunities to use the images captured during this session on the wedding day to display in many attractive and unique ways. And imagine having your thank you cards printed with your favorite pre-wedding portrait and ready to mail before you ever leave for the honeymoon!
Linh & Brandon I enjoyed spending my Sunday morning with you. Here are just a couple of my favorite shots. Enjoy!

Melissa + Francis
Melissa and Francis are two very sweet and soft spoken people that I very much enjoyed getting to know a little better.
I shot the wedding of another member of Melissa’s family a few years back and have developed a fondness for all of them. I enjoyed seeing so many faces I recognized and seeing how the kids are growing. Pat& Summer thank you for telling Melissa and Candy all about me!!! I hope there are many more beautiful weddings in your families’ futures and I hope I am the one to document them all!!!!
Melissa and Francis’ I hope you had a glorious getaway in New York and enjoy this little preview of your wedding day images.

Photo Studio Construction Progress...
I am really excited to see that we have had some real progress happening with the construction of the new photography studio. For those of you who do not already know we are in the progress of building a brand photo studio on 9 acres in Gun Barrel City, Texas.
The construction is well under way now. As you will see in the following images we are going from raw land, fully covered in trees with no utilities to eventually having a full photo studio as well as many outdoor photo settings that will allow a HUGE variety of choices for portraits of any kind.
Before the removal of some trees and underbrush on the first acre.
After clearing that first acre Dino visualizes where things will be placed.
Starting the forms.

Everything starts with a good foundation!

Brannon + Lauren on July 4th...
I hope all of you had a great Independence day!
I had a very enjoyable July 4th shooting the wedding of Brannon and Lauren.
Their wedding ceremony was held in a small church in Athens, Texas the celebration that followed was held at Lakeview Lodge in Athens.
The love between these two is obvious. I enjoyed capturing their fun loving personalities alongside some sweet and tender moments.
Below are a few images from their wedding day.

Youlien & Jay's E-session...
I don't mean to brag here (okay so maybe I do a just a little) but it didn't take me but a few minutes to get Jay and Youlien into the groove and enjoying my process. An hour flew by and all of a sudden Youlien said" I wish we had put more money into the parking meter so we wouldn't have to rush back to the car". At that point I knew I had change her perception of what it is to have portraits made.
We had a great time walking around West End and capturing some wonderfully meaningful and fun images. Here are a few of my favorites.
