A thought or 2 ...

I have been itching to take on a personal photography project for the last few weeks. I don`t know why I have to have these bursts of personal creativity in the middle of wedding season when I don`t have as much time to pursue such things, but hey who am I to reject the blessing of inspiration when it drops in! I am going to run with it! Today I had 2 creative ideas. One led me to purchase the domain name FemmeFatalePhotography.com I actually have a number of ideas for this but for now I am just going to let you sit on that name and see what comes of it:) I`ll keep you posted!

The other idea was inspired by an old photo I had taken of a model years ago. I was flipping through some old medium format negs and saw this image and decided it needed a "transformation". I broke out the scanner and scanned the medium format B&W negative I had so loving developed myself by hand over 10 years before.

After getting the digital version of this treasure into Photoshop I had some fun transforming the model into "Lava Girl". Check her out below!



I am thinking of carrying this idea into a photographic series called "Metamorphisis" What do you think?
